Details
Water heat exchangers can be used to obtain additional energy from flue gases for heating water in the central heating and domestic hot water systems.
The heat exchanger is placed on the Certus accumulative fireplace with high thermal capacity (obtained by the use of a large amount of accumulative materials in the furnace). The fireplaces are equipped with combustion automation and double-glazed doors as standard.
The construction of furnaces and automatic control systems ensure proper, high-temperature wood combustion processes - the wood burns completely, and the glass pane always remains clean.
The energy generated during combustion is stored in the furnace itself, and the water is heated in the exchanger by the high temperature flue gases (400 - 800 °C). Automation also controls the work of the circulator pump.
Accumulative fireplaces with water exchangers are ideal for the construction of warm fireplaces and stoves made of chamotte plates and tiles. They can be used to build stable, hybrid heating systems (accumulation + central heating + hot air distribution).
Water heat exchangers can be used for any Certus fireplace insert. The heat exchangers have been designed to allow the installation of a cooling coil.
